We can guide you through the process of filing open records requests of agencies, remaining organized through the request process, knowing your rights, and if or when you successfully get what you’re researching, actually writing about it for a public audience in a way that drives forward mobilization efforts in your community. Our founder has used this as a major tool in their organizing work to hold police departments accountable, keep public school students safe from harmful policies, to earn media about public policy problems, and to further bolster the credibility of their power when organizing for policy change.
Small Business Digital
Small businesses need digital services too, and the application of these strategies can be different in some ways (a longer term building of trust rather than mass mobilization and fundraising on a rapid timeline), but spending hours on end trying to figure out how to use various social media channels effectively, completing graphic design projects, launching ad campaigns, or building out an email list to keep in touch with new and existing clientele can not only be exhausting, but the time wasted trying to learn anything and everything can actually put your focus on your business at risk.
